Content after ampersand gets wipe off in dhtmlx grid

Facing this problem in IE7 & 8, if I write say ‘Null & Void’ inside a cell it gets converted to ‘Null’ automatically. Tried the same on ‘Sample> dhtmlx grid> edit’ section and same thing is happening over there too.
Kindly look into the issue.

Try to use “edtxt” cell type

Can’t change the column type as I need HTML contents in my cell & not as pure text.
Secondly the bug is on production site so need to have small & minimal side effect solution.

Try to use following cell value:
“Null & Void”
