Temporarily preventing new events from being dragged

Hello,

I have a custom event editor window located in a sidebar.

I want to prevent new events from being dragged onto the scheduler if the user is already editing an event that is not saved.

The workflow is:

  1. User drags event on the timeline.
  2. Sidebar opens edit window and prevents new events from being dragged (existing event can still be resized and edited)
  3. User clicks save and new event lock restriction is removed (new events can be dragged).

What would be the best way to achieve this functionality?

Hi,
you can temporary disable drag_create and dblclick_create settings of the scheduler
