How to attach a url to a layout cell

I understand that version 7 is the latest but it is very frustrating when you take away a function or ability that was in version 5 and remove it without a replacement or workaround.

You may attach an iframe to your layout cell and display the needed URL in that iframe.
dhtmlxSuite 5 used the same approach in the attachURL() method.

The attachURL function was not brought over to DHX7. There’s a couple ways you can work around it, using attachHTML though. One way would be to use an AJAX call to the url of your player, and then use attachHTML to attach it to the window. I’ve found this method to be easier, but I can envision cases where this may not work, depending on the complexity of the page at the url.
