With latest version of js files we can’t reconstruct the problem with ID updating.
If response from server side was valid, client side ids will be changed as well.

Problem can be caused by invalid server side response
Id will be updated only when

  • response is a valid xml ( valid data valid content type )
  • response contains the type=“insert” - id will not be updated for other response types

Just to be sure I have attached latest version of js file - please try to use it instead of the original one.

No. still it is not working. Same issue is encountered. I have verified response xml ( formed as per Aliaksandr views in this thread).

I am planning hold over this poc now as it is difficult for me to complete it within my time line.
