Add Tasks by drawing in the calendar with the mouse

Hi Everyone,

Is there any way to create new tasks without using the “+” button? What I want to do is create tasks by drawing in the calendar, clicking in a start cell and dragging until an end date.

Hello,

Unfortunately it is not possible in Gantt, only in Scheduler.
Because when you create a task you also need specify text, parent which are set automatically when you add task by “+” button.

The only way to add new task without using the “+” button is to add additional button anywhere else and use addTask method by clicking.
