Alignment issues - ie9 document standards

I am seeing issues with alignment of the grid content when the document standard in set to IE9.
This code works perfectly when used in IE7 document standards.

We will soon be addign support for Html5 and need to make this work with IE9 document standards.
Help appreciated.

Your demo in simplified version works well for us in IE9.

If issue still occurs for you, please, provide with a ready-working complete demo, where the issue can be reproduced or with a demo link, where the issue can be reconstructed.
