I have found an issue with the formatting of the menu when placed alongside a group list.

could you explain the issue in detail ?
The menu bar does not have a border as it does in other scenarios. You can see in the image above that the menu has a gradient into the grouplist without a top border.
You have defined
type:"clean"
for the “rows” layout. Layout with such a type is rendered without borders. Please comment this config.
