Cannot find XML setup file

I am trying to install
dhtmlxScheduler_v30_120111.zip

And I keep getting:
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

Hello,

It seems you are trying standalone dhtmlxScheduler as Joompla plugin. That’s not correct, please use plugin version instead.

I wonder whether I have been clear:

I try to install the program using Extension Manager: Install
In package manager I try to install
dhtmlxScheduler_v30_120111.zip
and I get:
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

I then try
joomla_com_scheduler_v30_120425.zip
and get
Error installing component
Component Install: Another component is already using directory:
/homepages/20/d32289333/htdocs/LowerTemeCommunity/components/com_scheduler

So I then tried:
dhtmlxAccordion.zip
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

I have installed many extensions so I believe I am doing as I should?

Try manually delete that directory and install joomla_com_scheduler_v30_120425.zip again.
