Hello,
Thanks for the additional details. The issue happens because the version from NPM is the free (GPL) one — it doesn’t support task types. This is a PRO-only feature:
https://docs.dhtmlx.com/gantt/desktop__typeselect.html

To fix it, you can:

  • Use the PRO or Trial version
  • Or, if you stay on the free version, you’ll need to create task types and lightbox sections manually
