change 24hr time to 12hr time???

Hi all,

I am absolutely stumped so far on how to change 24hr time to 12hr time.
I went into the templates >> date format and added
%H:%i %a
to the format here, which gave me am and pm, but it still had the 24 hr number next to it.
eg: instead of 3:00PM it says 15:00PM.

I am sure that I am missing something blatantly obvious, so any help would be really appreciated.

I also want to add, that I have been looking for a calendar like this for ages, it is awesome!!

Actually scratch that I just experiment with the capitals. and got it happening.
