Clipboard control of the dhtmlxgrid for cross-browsing

I want to use the clipboard control of the dhtmlxgrid.
It works well in ie8, but did not work in Chorme, Sapari.

I would like to know if it is posible that the clipboard control features of the dhtmlxgrid can cross-borwser.

FYI: It doesn’t work on Linux too - no matter what browser is being used
