Collapse Ribbon?

I’m trying to recover some screen space when the Ribbon is not being used by collapsing it so that only the tabs show. As near as I can tell, this is not a native capability. I’ve tried setting display:none on various DIVs and I can get the Ribbon body to not show, but the elements below the Ribbon do not shift up, so something is keeping that space in the DOM. Any ideas how I can accomplish this?

If this isn’t possible, I’ll have to switch to a different Ribbon control and not make a purchase of this one. Please let me know

There is no such functionality, and I don’t see an easy way to add one, unfortunately.
