Complex drag-n-drop scroll problem

I have a tree in the top panel of Layout pattern 3E
Theres enough nodes to have scroll bar.
I noticed if I select a tree node with and drag-n-drop

  1. upwards it works ok ie
    horizontal cursor line moves upwards tree does not scroll
    until I reach the top of the panel whereupon the tree scrolls

  2. downwards and it does not work as expected ie
    horizontal cursor line moves downwards but so does the whole
    tree in the panel until the panel bottom is reached whereupon
    it stops

  3. upwards and then downwards sort of works - bit hit and miss
    ie upwards ok and then change and move downwards and either
    cursor line goes over selected node and carries on down the tree
    ie works correctly or else when it reaches the selected node it
    does as 2 above

Also left mouse click selects node and when released still in
drag-n-drop mode: is it possible to drop out of mode when
mouse is released?

Also noticed sometimes after use, when selecting to do a
drag-n-drop the horizontal cursor line no longer appears
until a browser refresh is made.

Above should have read (addition between the * *)

  1. downwards and it does not work as expected ie

    tree in the panel until the *selected highlighted node is at the panel bottom whereupon the scrolling stops ie move the mouse around but it is not possible scroll below selected node

Which version of dhtmlxtree you are using?

The problem with complex drag-n-drop doesn’t occur with the latest development version. But this feature is part of PRO edition, therefore please create ticket at support.dhtmlx.com/
