customise tooltip width in datagrid cell

hi,

Actually the default tooltip which is showing for datagrid cell depends on the browser.In IE tooltip width is different from FF.

Is there any way so that i can set max-width for tooltip,so that tooltip will so same number of characters for tooltip in all the browsers.

Unfortunately such feature is not supported.
The tooltip in dhtmlxgrid is a default html title, so it’s css is browser/OS-dependent.

We may suggest you to create your own custom tooltip.
