Dateformat oddities

It appears if the setInsensitiveX is set to yyyy-mm-dd that is the default display until an event occurs in the calendar which then switched to whatever the setDateFormat() has been set. This occurs even if setDateFormat() is called after setInsentitiveX

Also it appear that the format parameters %j for day as number and %n for month as a number cause an error. Can you clarify both?
