I am currently toying around with the dhtmlx Scheduler but I am encountering weird layout/display problems:
This is the build I am currently using: v.4.0 build 130813
I copied the files from the sources folder, is this correct?

Are you using any external css files on the page
It does look as css conflict, be sure that you are not using css styles which change styling of all elements on the page ( adding padding to all div elements may cause similar effect )
I am using Bootstrap on the page, does it conflict with the Scheduler?
I will try to inspect the elements and find conflicting css rules.
Yep, there is a known issue with Bootstrap, we will try to adress it in the next update.

Next version ( 4.1 ) will have such fix.
Where did you even find the files needed for the Terrace skin in the latest 4.0 download? I know it requires a dhtmlxscheduler_dhx_terrace.js but i could not find it in the default download from the site? I was able to find the images and the css file though.
Default dhtmlxscheduler.css is the css file for the terrace skin ( this is default skin of the scheduler )
