Hello,

I must upgrade a Rails application using a very old version (= year 2007) of dhtmlxgrid to the new one (v4.1 pro).

Does anyone knows if the present version is dependent or conflicting with any particular framework (jquery, prototype, jquery-ui, etc…) or if it is self-contained?

Regarding the data xchange with the server, the old grid was based on xml. Is xml still an option for grid-2-server communication?

dhtmlxgrid is a self-contained framework and it’s not dependent on any particular framework

Regarding the data xchange with the server, the old grid was based on xml. Is xml still an option for grid-2-server communication?
xml-based data is still supported for the dhtmlx components.
