Dhtmltree - show on several columns

I’m using a tree with nearly 300 nodes at the top level so it takes a lot of space on the page. As there are no more than 3 levels in the tree it would be great to have the tree show on 3 columns on the page. Is there any way I can achieve this?

Tree component can work only in single column mode
