DHTMLX Grid Filter result doesn't clear when you click X

I have a site using the DHTMLX Grid. I noticed that in IE11, when you enter a filter string into the grid header, it will add an “X” button that you can use to clear the grid. If you click the X, it will clear the box, but it does not clear the filter, so the grid will remain filtered. This is not a problem on Chrome or FF as the filter textbox does not offer an “X” button to clear the filter.

Attached is a PNG image which demonstrats how to reproduce this issue. I was able to reproduce it using the live demo of the data grid at the following link.

Hello I am having a similar issue using dhtmlx version 4.1.2. Clicking the x opens up the drop-down if it wasn’t opened and just leaves it opened. But doesn’t clear the filter unless you choose an item in the drop-down.

Was this the solution or are you still working on this?

Unfortunately it’s not available to bind the input X to the dhtmlxgrid filter.

Hi,
I am also facing the same issue in IE11. I am having dhtmlxgrid version 2.1 professional edition. Should i need to update the latest version or another way available to fix this issue.

The fix is available in dhtmlxGrid 4.6. That cross button is removed from the filters

We are using 4.6 and issue is still present. I wrote following line of CSS to get rid of the ‘x’ in input box:

input[type=text]::-ms-clear { display:none; }
