Continuation of prior post. Addtional info:
The calendar fails to render properly in 8.06 but works in IE 6 and 7. The problem has to do with the additional css addition:
which is necessary for the aggenda view to render properly.
I can provide a screen capture if needed.

The component was tested against IE8 and wasn’t show any problems locally. Is issue occurs in one of default samples or in your custom code only?
