Could all component be used within yii framework or only grid and schedule as shown in tutorial?

Components are fully client side, so they can be used with ANY framework.
All data bound components ( tree, chart, dataview, etc. ) can be used with server side data feeds for data loading, similar to grid ( you need to use related connector files and connector classes )
