dhtmlxgrid_form.js is missing in the standard version

Hi,

According to KB12426 (dhtmlx.com/docs/products/kb/inde … al&q=12426), dhtmlxgrid_form.js was not included in the standard version accidentally. But it seems that it is still missing in current release of dhtmlxSuite. I would like to know whether the attached dhtmlxgrid_form.js in KB12426 is the latest version or not. It would be even better if it could be included in the downloadable package. Thank you.

That surprises me, because the KB I quoted seems to suggest that there is actually a “dhtmlxgrid_form.js” for standard version (maybe with functional limit?). And API documentation of dhtmlxGrid also indicates that there are some methods that require this library (e.g.: submitSerialization(), docs.dhtmlx.com/doku.php?id=dhtm … ialization) are for “Any Edition” instead of “Professional Edition”. I wonder what’s happening.

There was a lot of confusion with this extension, originally it was purposed for pro version only, but was included in standard package, later it was removed from standard package but at that moment it was already in use by some projects based on grid-standard.

To simplify situation, starting from next version, it will be included as part of standard edition.

Version of dhtmlxgrid_form.js , which can be used with grid 2.5 is attached to the post.
