I have found many examples of reading data from a db (mysql). But I have not found any examples of updating routines.
Can I even do this with the GPL version?

You update data in data base using dhtmlxDataProcessor or dhtmlxConnectors extensions. This extensions are included at the Standart Suite package which you can download here dhtmlx.com/docs/products/dhtmlxC … l#cc_guide
