Can dhtmlxSpreadsheet open and import Excel files? BAically to import formulas and values, etc.

we don’t provide solution out-of-box, but spreadsheet has API which you may use to set/get cell values.
So you may write your own script to take data from Excel file (using PHPExcel) and put it into spreadsheet (using Spreadsheet API).
