Why there is some design glitch in IE as seen in the image ?

The grid on screenshoot has some custom skin applied, the issue most probably caused by some custom styles applied to the grid.
If you are using IE in standard compatibility mode - please be sure that padding and margin which you have applied to the grid, must be the same for header and body cells.
