Difference between DHTMLXGRID version 2.5 and 3.6

Hi,
We are currently using 2.5 version of dhtmlxgrid and now planning to shift 3.6 version. So can any one let me know exact difference between dhtmlxgrid’s version 2.5 and 3.6.

since the 2.5 version plenty of bugs and limitations were fixed nad many new features were added.

Is the Dhtmlxgrid version 3.6 is compatible with 2.5 version? specially the xml format.

dhtmlxGrid version 2.5 is down compatible with the 3.6 version.
Your grid built in 2.5 version should work with the 3.6 version.
