dimmed text to introduce the form control

I would like to initialize the form controls with text that introduce the user what she should input.
Usually such a text is dimmed.

For example: the form includes dropdown control to select a country - I would like to initialize the select control with the dimmed text “Select country”, of course that text is not one of the select options.

Is it supported by dhtmlx?
