There’s an mistake within docs.dhtmlx.com

DHTMLX Menu -> Data Loading -> Data Loading from HTML Object:

<div id="m11" text="New" Ctrl+N// the first child item

should be:

Ctrl+N
// the first child item

There is a possibility to place text at the top of the menu using >> steTopText()<< method:
