Hi,

I am interested if there is any api, like setting or getting a value in combination with form.
We have special fields like a “lookup”. Would it makes sense to solve it via container instead of having a custom item.

container works separately, if you need lookup and values stored in a form you probably need to create a custom item or wrapper for set/get form data which will add your custom name:value pairs into common object
