Drag and drop does not work on iPad

Hi,

Using dhtmlxTree version 4.1.2 standard, the tree widget does not seem to work on iPad with Safari, even on the most recent version. It is the same thing with the online demo.

Is there a dxhtmlxTree method to call to enable touch devices? Does it require a special plugin? Does only the PRO version have touch support? Are there plans to make the tree widget work anytime soon?

Hi,

Our components do not support drag-n-drop on touch devices. Touch events causes scrolling.
You may consider alternative ui solutions, for example place “>>” button on the page that will move selected item(s) to another tree.

Hi,

I have found a company that has a TreeView widget that supports drag-and-drop on touch devices. Their package is called Telerik Kendo UI.

Do you have plans to have your TreeView widget work any time soon?
