Drag and Drop from external source

Is it possible to drag & drop on the timeline from an external source? I see this capability is supported in the Scheduler component but not the Gantt i.e. docs.dhtmlx.com/scheduler/dhtml … ation.html.

This is quite an important feature for us as dragging from an external source onto the chart would be a common use-case for our users.

Hi,
right now there is no built-in solution.
The general approach should be similar to the one used for dhtmlxScheduler - described in comments docs.dhtmlx.com/gantt/api__gantt_locate.html

And after that, you should be able to insert new task as a child or a sibling of drop target docs.dhtmlx.com/gantt/api__gantt_addtask.html
