In our system, we have Release->Sprint->UserStory->Task.
For all the items, the duration is in days.
Only for Task item, the duration is in Hours.
In Gantt chart, i saw that duration can be in only one unit either days or hours.
My question is can we have Task duration in decimals like 0.25 day/0.5 day…

Unfortunately by default duration can’t be in decimals and calculated according to duration_unit and duration_step.

For example, if you have duration_unit=1 day but want to have an event with duration 12 hour, you should change the value of duration_unit to ‘hour’.
Possibly you can try to configure something in the source code according to your requirements, may be in calculateDuration() function

but i haven’t any ready solutions for you.
