I have several questions relating to the enableHeaderMenu method:
1. It seems this method only works if you have used the setHeader method
If you have loaded column definition and row definition via loadXML this method doesnt enable the header menu
2. What CSS classes are being used for the header menu
In my release v2.1 Proffessional, there is no CSS file for the header menu
3. Does this method also work for TreeGrid

just call if from after-loading handler ( onXLE event or second parameter of load command )

Yes it works for both Grid and TreeGrid
