Hi,
Event length is set according to event’s duration and scale settings. Possibly you need to increase time_step in createTimelineView method.
Please, check this example how to change scale dinamically by scroll: docs.dhtmlx.com/scheduler/snippet/85277f31
Also you can try to change CSS to update length without changing scale settings.
