We’re running version 4.1.1 of dhtmlxGrid and calling adjustColumnSize and setColWidth. Operations that take under 10ms in Chrome are taking over 200ms in IE11. Specifically, within those two functions, setSizes and setColWidthA are taking a long time.
Is this a known issue that’s solved in later versions of dhtmlxGrid, or, if not, is there a fix or workaround? Thanks.
Unfortunately the mentioned problem cannot be reconstructed locally.
There is no such critical performance decreasing in IE11 for me.
If the problem still actual could you pleas,e provide with a complete demo, where the problem can be reproduced.

loadXMLString is very slow in IE11 but where as in Chrome it has no issues. We have enabled the smart rendering but when we scroll it is creating the white space and it is growing alot. We applied the setawaitedheight as well but no luck in retrieving the results fast.
In Production the records count will be very high so having this issue and do not see any option to fix this in dhtmlx grid.
Could you please provide the solution for this.

Please try to use DHTMLX 5.x
There is no fix for the exactly same case. Still, latest version of DHTMLX contains many minor fixes, one of which may be related to the issue in your case.
