I have been using DHTMLX Pro for past couple years and have been very happy with it. It was the simplest framework to learn and i use it extensively for my project.
Recently, i have been evaluating DHTMLX Gantt. Seems like it needs a lot of work to be competitive with some products out there (example: Bryntnum Gantt). I would love if you could make it more comprehensive (i.e. dhtmlx connector and dataprocessor integration etc.) and bring it to the standard of your other product DHTMLX Scheduler.
I am not sure if such an effort is in the works? If so would really like to know when we can expect a new comprehensive update release.
Yes, we plan to release a completely new dhtmlxGantt this June. It’s almost done and we need to write the documentation but hopefully it will be released within a month. The updated dhtmlxGantt will also work with dhtmlxConnectors.
Unfortunately, no. The release is postponed for a month. I think we will prepare a beta version within the next two weeks. It still will be lacking the documentation but if you have worked with dhtmlxScheduler, it won’t be difficult to work with the new Gantt chart.
We now have the development version of dhtmlxGantt (includes some demos). If you are interested in trying it, please contact us: dhtmlx.com/docs/contact.shtml
