getParent() is not working for dhtmlTreeGrid

Can some one tell me how to get the Parent element or Parent element Id of the dhtmlTreegrid.
dhtmlTreegrid.getParent() method is not working for dhtmlTreegrid.

Please, try to use the getParentId() method:
