Grid: retaining multi-row selection when clicking on an edit

I need to retain multi-row selection when clicking on an editable cell.

How do I go about doing this ?

I need to retain multi-row selection when clicking on an editable cell.
Unfortunately there is no opportunity do to this because of after you are clicking on the any cell all multiple rows selection removes and only clicked row is selected. The only way to select multiple rows - keep pressing CTRL button.
