Grouping seems to slow down smart rendering

I’ve noticed that grouping seems to slow down smart rendering. My test case is that I have about 1000 tasks and 5 groups. If I don’t group, the scrolling is lightning fast. Almost, too fast :smiley: When I turn grouping on, it’s not noticeable at first but as I scroll down the list, it starts getting slower.

I’m not sure if this is specifically because I’m grouping or maybe it’s because when I group issues, the linked tasks become spread out across groups. There is also a noticeable framerate drop when the grouped task indicator scrolls into view on the chart.

It will be very helpful if you can provide with access to your application where the problem can be reproduced.
