On checking the checkbox .I want to disable the datepicker fields and vice versa.

There is no “disable” option, but you can show hide related controls on checkbox clicking
Is there any other alternative…
like can i change the datepicker field to a empty label(indicating that its disabled) when i click on the checkbox
You can have two fields in the form - label and datepicker. During clicking on checkbox you can hide one and show the another one.
