i use blank.gif as a icon for a tree data type instead of a page like icon. For reducing the width of the image between “+” icon and the tree name i reduced the width of blank.gif using MS paint. when i again load the grid and on selecting a row i’m getting a blank white patch behind the default grey color which indicates the grid is selected . How to remove that blank white patch. Also when i use the default blank.gif file provided by you then the blank white space is not shown when selecting the row . Kindly let me know how to remove the patch

The blank.gif is transparent image, after edition in MS paint it probably lost transparency setting.
You can try to use some more advanced image editing soft, or just provide necessary dimension and I will send an updated image for you
