When dhtmlx is creating the PDF it opens a new tab. Normally in Firefox for example it opens a new tab to create the PDF and then the tab is automatically closed and you can view the PDF that was just created.
How do I stop the new tab that is being created when the PDF is being created from freezing and not closing automatically?
This is only happen in Internet Exployer 9 and above. I have tested it with IE 7 and 8 as well and it works correctly. In Firefox it works correctly 100% of the time.
I have attached 3 screen shots to illustrate the actual error.
Screen (1) - shows the report no the screen with the “Create PDF” button.
Screen (2) - shows the tab that opens when the “Create PDF” button is pressed and the dhtmlx
is creating the PDF file.
Screen (3) - shows the screen after Screen (2) / Tab has been closed by clicking on the “X”. At
the bottom of the screen you will see that the PDF was created successfully.
