07.grid -> 12.inline_edit_key_nav sample, inline is activated only when you click the row once and click the cell to which inline is applied.
Is it possible to make the inline active with just one click of this?

We are aware of that issue. It occurs because of the multiselect extension. If the task is already selected, it should work with a single click.
The dev team will fix it in the future, but I cannot give you any ETA.
As a workaround, you can manually open the inline editor in the onTaskClick event handler:
