Inquiry about New Features and Bug Fixes in DHTMLX MS Project Export Service

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re doing well. Our team has been using the DHTMLX MS Project Export Service for some time now, and we recently noticed that a new version, MS Project Export Service 2.0.0.1, was released on 2023-06-14. We are currently using the version which was released on 2022-11-25.

We would like to know more about the new features and bug fixes introduced in the latest version. Specifically, we are interested in understanding the improvements made since our current version, as it may impact our workflow and decision-making process. Our DHTMLX Gantt version is 7.1.9 Professional.

Any information regarding the changes in the MS Project Export Service, such as enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations, would be greatly appreciated. We want to ensure that we stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the software.

Hello Madhuka,
The newer version of the MSP export module was migrated to a different platform. Now, it is a .NET Core application. And you can run it not only on the Windows platform, but also on Linux or inside the Docker container.
Internally, it uses the same codebase and the MPXJ library. The dev team improved performance for the export module. And these are all the changes so far.

In the next update, the dev team will add a feature to import different calendars.
If you have the license for the MSP export module, you can submit a support request and ask for the preview version that supports importing different calendars.
