Is it possible to connect element on every side position of element?

Hi,

I want to connect element on the certain side position.
For example: not only the middle and corner position on the element.
Is it possible to add more connector on the element by ourselves or just link to the element without connector?

I mean, is there any api that can create connector like the red one?
I hope the connect position is not limited on the blue one.

My apologies for the delay with the reply.
Unfortunately currently there is no possibility to define the position of the connector such way. Connectors can be center-aligned only.
