From my understanding, the newest version of the Gantt was allowing this, but I can’t seem to find any proper documentation for it.
Did I misread? When I search, I mostly find information regarding moving multiple task in the timeline, but that’s not what I want. I want to be able to select multiple tasks and move them somewhere by dragging and dropping them.

It is possible to select several tasks and horizontally move them in the timeline. Gantt has that feature since the 6.3 version:

Right now, there is no built-in feature to vertically reorder several tasks in the grid. The dev team will add that feature in the future, but I cannot give you any ETA.
For now, you need to implement a custom solution by using the Gantt API and Javascript.
