Can we have a three columns in y-axis instead of one column? I am a beginner for dhtmlx components. Please help me out.

Yes. It can be done using timeline_scale_label template.

Can’t say, because 4.0 released more than 6 years ago and I don’t have a package with this version.

Try to use timeline_scale_label template to return any value. If it works, I think, the way described in the tutorial also will work correctly.
