I am unsure where to put this post but here goes. I am working on cleaning up how I inform/ask users about information and I really want to use this functionality. It works perfectly in Firefox and Chrome but I cannot get it to work right in IE. I am using IE9 and I have a layout with grids and such in the cells. When a message is to be displayed to the user the message covers the entire layout. I have done a little research and there was talk about taking IE out of quirks mode but there was no further information on what mode to use. Can I get some more information on this? Maybe what mode others have found success with?
