regarding json support:
1) can we configure grid/tree or other dhtmlx componets using json?
(similar to tag for xml config of grid)
2) does the dataprocessor support json responses? that is, during updates to the server, a json response is sent back instead of xml…does the dataprocessor currently handles json responses?
3) lastly if the above are not in the current release yet, when can we expect a release supporting the above? Or simply, what can we expect in regards to JSON support in the next release, and also when?
I’m expecting some timeline since it is critical for us to know if it’s feasible as our architecture is currently being reevaluated…

There is no such a functionality.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t.

The next release will not provide described features.
Has anything changed in last few years in this subject?
You can load json data, but still you can’t configure grid from json and response of dataprocessor is an XML only
