The idea would be the content in the left grid remains the same size, but gets a scroll bar if all the min-widths are reached. See the example image below
Basically having a horizontal scroll bar for the left side and the right side.
Is this possible? Or has anyone come up with a decent solution for it?

currently there is no easy way to do so. You can implement something similar using some css hacks, but the absence of a separate scrolls is more a design decision and most probably won’t be changed in nearest updates
